Mother's Day Blog Hop

April is almost at an end and Mother's Day is quickly approaching.  Welcome to my entry in the Team Stamp It! Mother's Day Theme Blog Hop.

I am loving the Painted Petals Stamp set and the matching Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper.

I do love my Decorative Label Punch, but I always want to layer it.  This is an easy way to create layers with your punch.

The April Paper Pumpkin is wonderful if you need to make a quick gift card holder.  Of course, a gift subscription to Paper Pumpkin would be a wonderful gift to give your Mom this Mother's Day.  If you don't have a demonstrator, contact me to find out how to purchase a gift subscription for your Mother.

Team Stamp It! Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to my entry in the Team Stamp It! Easter Blog Hop.  I think I may have gotten a little carried away with the bunny butts.  LOL

Click next to go back to the beginning or scroll on down to see more about how to make this card.

I have decided for the blog hop, I will showcase this card.  I love the way it turned out.  It uses three of my favorite products from the Occasions Catalog.  I have way more than just three.  This has been one of my favorite catalogs so far.

How to make a bunny butt.  The bunny butt is a 2 inch circle punch.  The cute little tail is the 7/8 scallop punch.  The feet are a couple of different punches.  The main foot is the extra large oval punch.  To complete the foot you use the small oval punch and the owl builder punch (the two small circles at the top).  I sponged the edges with Pink Pirouette to add dimension.

I used a combination of snail adhesive and liquid glue to assemble the bunny butt.  Isn't it just so cute.  On the card I punched a 2 inch black circle to give him a hole to jump into.

The base of my card is Whisper White(5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) with a layer of Wild Wasabi      (5 1/4 x 4) topped with a piece of the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper (5 x 3 3/4).

The Easter Sentiment was from the Crazy About You stamp set.  I just love all the combinations of greetings you get with this stamp set.

I stamped the sentiment in Wild Wasabi and punched it out with the Word Window Punch.  Then I layered it on a piece of Wild Wasabi cardstock I punched out with the Modern Label Punch.

You can't just have it say Easter.  That's where this gem comes in.  I used the Happy die and Blackberry Bliss cardstock to complete the sentiment.
I love the thinlits dies.  The Hello You Thinlits Dies comes with four dies.  It coordinates with the Crazy About You stamp set.  You can purchase them together in a bundle and save 15%.  It's a great deal.
I hope you have enjoyed my entry in the blog hop.  Below are pictures of the other 2 projects I made.  They will be getting their own blog posts in the near future.  Stop back by to see them

Sheltering Tree Thinking of You

After all the snow we have had recently, I am in the mood for spring.  Hopefully the pink dogwoods will be in bloom around here.  Hope you enjoy the card.

Sending Wishes

This is the final design in the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP.  Before using this design, I didn't think I liked it.  I used the Blackberry Bliss ink pad in a direct to paper technique to color the background.  I also used the Blackberry Bliss ink pad and blender pens to color in the flowers.  The center of the flowers is Hello Honey and the stems and leaves are Mossy Meadow.  I think this is my favorite card in my Irresistibly Yours series.

Thinking of you

I started out coloring this beautiful image from Butterfly Basics with my Blendabilities.  Then the dreaded announcement came that Stampin' Up! was suspending the sale of these markers due to a quality issue from the manufacturer.  I had already colored the flower and now I had to decide what to do about the stem and leaves.  I pulled out my ink pad and my blender pen and proceeded to color it the way I did before Blendabilities were introduced.  The background paper is one of the designs from the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP.  I have one more design left to show you.

Love Who You Are

Three tone card using Soft Sky, Marina Mist, and Night of Navy.  This is another one of the designs that comes in the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP.  I sure hope they offer something similar to this in the next annual catalog.  I just love it.  I used the sponge daubers to create this background and to do the different colors on the stamped image.

Happy Birthday

Using sponge daubers and ink pads, the stars have come out.  Yet another pattern in the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP.  I used the 1 1/4" punch to punch the balloons.  I really like the color combination of Rose Red, Perfect Plum, and Island Indigo for this card.

Thinking of You

Yes, another background using the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP.  This time I used Cherry Cobbler to sponge the background.  I love the flowers in the Beautiful Bunch stamp set.  We also have a punch called Fun Flower that matches the stamp set.  The punch makes it easy to cut the flower out.  I don't know about you, but I am not good at fussy cutting.  The sentiment and leaf stamp are from the Crazy About You stamp set.  The die cut "you" is from the Hello You Thinlits dies.  This stamp set and the dies come in a bundle.  If you buy them in the bundle you can save 15%.  I just love buying the bundles offered by Stampin' UP!.  They save me money.

For this card, I sponged Crisp Cantaloupe on the resist paper and layered it on Whisper White.  I used Crisp Cantaloupe ink to stamp my sentiment from our stamp set, Really Good Greetings.  Stampin' UP! has a wonderful thick bakers twine in our 2013-2015 in colors.  I used my Big Shot and my Chalk Talk Framelits to cut out the sentiment and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Earn It For Free During Sale-A-Bration

This card showcases 2 products that can only be earned.  The first is a hostess only stamp set called Bloom with Hope from the big annual catalog.  This is a beautiful stamp set that comes with 11 stamps. I have used the branch with leaves and added some blossoms from the Boho Blossom Punch.  The flowered background paper is an exclusive Specialty DSP available only during Sale-A-Bration called Irresistibly Yours.  You can use your favorite ink colors to color the paper and a white embossed image resists the color to form a beautiful paper.  I sponged Blushing Bride on the resist paper for this card.  To earn the Hostess set, you need to have an order of $150.00 or more before shipping and taxes.  When you reach this level you will be able to select $25.00 of free merchandise.  To get orders of this size, you can make one large order for yourself or get together with friends and host an event.  If you are interested in hosting an event, contact me and we will work out a plan.  Until March 31st, Sale-A-Bration is going on.  What this means to you is, not only will those sales earn you free merchandise from the catalogs, but it will also earn you free items from a special booklet with Sale-A-Bration items.  For every $50.00, before shipping and taxes, you spend, you earn one item from Sale-A-Bration.  Another wonderful thing about Sale-A-Bration is that if you have sales of $250.00, you earn an extra $25.00 in hostess dollars to spend.  This is a great time to host an event.  You can get together with friends and make a project.  When your friends order products during your event, you can earn free merchandise and they can too.

Sheltering Tree

I absolutely love this beautiful stamp set, Sheltering Tree.  There are so many possibilities with this set.  I kept it simple using Soft Suede for the tree trunk and Wild Wasabi and Pear Pizzaz for the tree foliage and grass.

Lotus Blossom

Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin' Up! is a great time to order, host a party, or become a new demonstrator.  We have a wonderful brochure full of fun new products you can't buy, but you can earn.  For every $50.00 (before tax and shipping) you spend with Stampin' Up! you can earn one of these beautiful products.  I must admit, so far, the Lotus Blossom Stamp Set is my favorite.  It comes as a set of 7 stamps.  The flower is a three step stamping process that produces a beautiful flower with three tones.  The stem is a two stamp process.  The set comes with two sentiment stamps that can be used together or separately.  If you host a party during Sale-A-Bration, you can earn an extra $25.00 when you have a party order of $250.00 (before shipping and tax).  This is in addition to the normal hostess benefits you would normally earn.  If you decide you would like to become a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, your starter kit is $99.00 (plus tax) and you get to pick $125.00 in merchandise.  As an added bonus for signing up during Sale-A-Bration, there are two options you can choose from for more goodies.  You can pick one of the new project kits from the new Occasions Catalog, or any two Sale-A-Bration products.

This card was made with the new Lotus Blossom Stamp Set.  I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (3 1/4 x 5 1/4).  I stamped the first flower stamp in Rose Red.  I stamped the second flower stamp with Rose Red stamped off first and then onto the cardstock.  The third flower stamp was stamped with Pink Pirouette.  The first stem stamp was stamped with Pear Pizzazz.  The second stem stamp was stamped with Wild Wasabi.   I stamped the sentiment with Wild Wasabi.  I then mounted it on a piece of Wild Wasabi cardstock (4 x 5 1/4).  This was then mounted to a Whisper White card base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored down the middle).  For an added touch I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels above the flowers.

Puppies and Kittens

Thought I would try something different with my swap cards this month.  I found the directions for this center step card over on Pinterest.  Much easier than I thought they would be.  I really hope the recipients are s happy with them as I am.

Guy Get Well

Let's face it, who among us doesn't have trouble when it comes to masculine cards?  I know I do.  Gorgeous Grunge seems to be a perfect guy stamp.  This one just seemed to come together easy.  I was surprised at how easy it was.  It is an easel card.  I just love the dimension these cards have.
