Where have I been lately?

I had planned on posting a card a day here and on my Facebook page. Due to problems with my back (I have severe spinal stenosis), I have not been able to get into my craft room lately to create. I start physical therapy tomorrow and I hope it helps alleviate some of my pain. I hope to be back to creating projects soon.

Halloween Card 2017 #2

Super simple card today for those who don't have a lot of supplies.  No die cutter needed.  You can use the new Cat Punch in the new Holiday Catalog, but a pair of scissors is really all you need.  The strip and the cats are from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and the greeting is from the Spooky Cat Stamp Set.  If you buy them together you can save 10% when the new catalog comes out.

I will update with the product list when the catalog goes live.

Halloween Card 2017 #1

The first Halloween card of the year.  The new Holiday Catalog has some really great Halloween stamps in it.  Merry Cafe' coordinates with the Coffee Cups Framelits in the Annual Catalog.  The Spooky Night DSP is so great.  I love it.

I will update with a product list when the catalog goes live.

Live, Laugh, Love

Today's card is pretty simple.  I finally got around to using my Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The stamp set is Layering Love.  I like the look of the Sahara Sand and Powder Pink together.  I hope you like this card.  Let me know what you think by leaving me a comment.

Shadow Box Card

Today's card is a fun fold card.  It folds flat to mail but pops up so it can stand up on its own.  I love the new 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.  I used the Ruffled folder.  I'm going to have to use these more often.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Today is my 49th birthday, so let's celebrate.  I just had to have some bling on this card. I used the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.  I have been wanting to use this for a while, but I keep getting distracted by other stamp sets.  I used a couple of different pink markers to shade the flower.  The main color is Sweet Sugarplum, as is the pink cardstock.  I stamped the image on shimmery white cardstock in Basic Black Archival Ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  After I colored the image, I used the clear Wink of Stella to go over the flowers. Can't have too much shimmer.  The Silver Glimmer Paper adds a nice touch of sparkle.

Leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Follow me to see new cards as they are posted.
